Andy & Melissa | Arizona Engagement Session
This Couple was FIRE. You can see for yourself, but these two had a seriously phenomenal engagement session in my totally biased opinion.
Andy and Melissa hired me as both their engagement and wedding photographer. I was recommend to Melissa by her sister who is also a professional photographer. Being recommended by a fellow photographer is one of the biggest compliments I can receive. Melissa and I started with a coffee date and hit it off right away. Melissa met Andy in the Marine Corps so naturally we had a lot in common. The couple is currently stationed in San Diego, but with family in Yuma they are planning to tie the knot there in October. I cannot wait for their upcoming nuptials!!
The Dunes seem to be a fan favorite for pictures this past year. I can't say I'm surprised because this unique location has given me some phenomenal sessions. The day we shot was VERY windy. Regardless of the sand flying we were laughing and having fun the whole time. Coming into the session Andy and Melissa were a bit nervous. Many of my clients express nerves over how to pose, how they will look and general anxiety over somehow messing up the session. You might be surprised how many people that label themselves “un-photogenic” show up and have pictures that turn out fantastic. I assured this couple (as I do all my clients) not to worry. I’d say from looking at these pictures that this couple had zero need to worry. They nailed it!
Feed back from clients is always appreciated. When I touched base with Melissa after the shoot she let me know that they keep looking at these pictures and laughing because they had so much fun at the session. Looking back at the photos brings it all back. She said they are thankful I made the session lighthearted and pressure free. I couldn't ask for better praise because this is my goal. Not only do I strive to provide my clients with fantastic images, I also work very hard to ensure the process itself is enjoyable and memorable.
Planning your own session or special occasion? I would love the opportunity to be your photographer. Contact me and we can make it happen!
